I can recall in 1996 while visiting San Antonio, Texas, I toured that notable landmark 'The Alamo.' I remember sitting near the outer walls and reading those who dedicated the church were of the 'Free Masons' of Texas. I was struck by the tremendous penetration of such an organization in American history. I was curious to see how resolute Masonry really was in our country and world. We at BARC have discovered that the very fabric of our country is permeated with Masonic teachings.
Many of our countries 'Founding Fathers' were devout Masons. BARC has discovered that George Washington our first President was a Mason, along with James Buchanan, James Garfield, Warren Harding, Andrew Jackson, William McKinley, James Monroe, James Polk, Teddy Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, William Taft, Gerald Ford, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Daniel Coxe.
During our countries Civil War battle at Gettysburg, it is documented that after the battle 'Yanks and Rebs' mingled as brothers under the Mason symbol of the square and compass. Our very structure and national symbols are tainted with Masonic emblems. The selection of the 'Eagle' as our national symbol, and the design of our currency is bursting with Masonic symbols.
Recently the Masonic publication entitled 'The Royal Arch' listed Earl Warren of the 'Warren Report' fame surrounding President Kennedy's assassination as being a Mason. Edgar Hoover, head of the FBI was a 33rd degree Mason, as was Alabama Gov. George Wallace. The magazine listed 53 Senators and 184 members of the House of Representatives as being Masons.
Many of my military comrades in arms were Masons, I recall how many knew how to perform certain gestures and postures to signal to other Masons they were family. Being a Mason was an advantage in many promotion board proceedings and assignments. I remember coaching the unit basketball team and my team captain asked me to hold his ring. I put it on my finger and didn't realize it was a Masonic ring. Many people approached me during the game in Hanau, Germany as if I was a Mason brother. Afterwards he asked me if I wore it forwards or backwards? I told him forward, he said I was indicating to others that I was an active Mason. Many soldiers obtained favorable actions by other Mason's by virtue of their relationship in the lodge.
While working in Orlando, Florida in 2007, I was approached by a retired Colonel who shook my hand with the half grip Masonic hand shake. He asked me, if I was a traveling man? A common question to determine if you are a Mason brother. I explained I was not, and his response was, I should get with him for information, because I would be a good candidate. Many who call themselves Christians don't realize that they are dabbling in a covert 'Mystery Religion.'
From every corner of our world there is a pervasive presence of this secret movement called Masonry. If you drive your car to any small town in America, you'll see a sign that informs you there is a Masonic Lodge in that town. Every year there are Shriners parades coast to coast. We see the symbol of Masonry on the bumpers of cars every day. Masonry is so influential that it is supported by the largest Protestant organization in the world 'The Southern Baptist.' BARC is contacting the Southern Baptist with a strong condemnation for endorsing an anti-biblical and Christ defaming organization.

MASONIC ORIGIN & HISTORY
Freemasonry is known under several names, The Craft, The Brotherhood, The Order, The Lodge. The History of the Lodge is not easily discernable. There are many who believe that the Craft is an outgrowth of the Ancient Mystery schools or that it was first associated with the Druids or the Illuminati. The Craft can be traced back to many of the pagan practices of Egypt. There are parallels to the pagan god Rah, and the sun god Tammuz. The Scottish and York rites can be traced to the 16th century, where pagan rituals were performed. The secret societies were formed to control society and influence religious freedom.
Albert Pike in his book 'Morals and Dogma' says "Masonry has taken it's logical place as the unifier of all religions." Foster Bailey, an occultist and 32nd degree Mason says, "Masonry is all that remains of the first world religion." In other words, Freemasonry has it's roots in the same sources as the mystery religions of the world that brought on the wrath of the Hebrew God of the Old Testament. And the Craft is now preparing the way for the revival of the same religion of the ancients.
In 1717-1738 James Anderson presented his 'Constitutions' in England. This was the first formal structure and doctrine of Masonry. There was four lodges formed in 1717. The Craft grew and grew and was transported to America by European Masons. Adam Weishaupt formed a major facet of Masonry in Bavaria, Germany in 1776. By 1776 there was already eighty to one hundred lodges in the United States. At a celebration of the Festival of St. John the Baptist in 1844 at Portland, Maine. Mason brother Teulon, a member of the Grand Lodge in Texas observed; "Texas is emphatically a Masonic country." All of our Presidents, Vice Presidents, four fifths of our state officials were or are Masons. He went on to say that the state flag the 'Lone Star' was chosen from among the emblems selected by Freemasonry to illustrate the states moral virtues. They chose the five pointed star and alludes to the five points of Masonic fellowship. I suppose this explains how Masons were so involved in the dedication of the Alamo.
Masonry has influenced many events in our countries history. Confederate General Lew Wallace was a Mason, as was writer Edgar Allen Poe, President Warren Harding, and President Harry Truman.
Masonry was heavily entrenched within the structure of our countries formation and symbols. The dollar bill has the eagle that is a symbol of the eagle with 13 feathers, and 13 arrows. The eagle is the only creature that can look directly into the sun (an allusion to the sun god rah/Tammuz). The pyramid with it's all-seeing eye (Grand Architect of the Universe) are all Masonic symbols. The inscription on our dollar NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM means 'New World Order'. The intent of Masonry was to establish the New World Order of religious system.
The OLD SYSTEM of Jesus Christ and the Bible was to be replaced. 'The Mason sees the Pyramid as the most perfect and sublime architectural project man has ever accomplished. The All-Seeing Eye on top of the Pyramid represents God the Grand Architect of the Universe (GAOTU). This eye with the radiating glow around it, is a symbol of the sun-god rah or Tammuz of mystery religion. Within the lodge you will find over the seat of the Most Worshipful Master a large 'G' that stands for the god of Masonry.
The decade between 1826 and 1836 represented troublesome years for the Masonic Order. A growing anti-Masonic sentiment began to emerge. As a result there was a major exodus from Masonry by many Christians. There was the natural vacuum that was created, which was quickly filled by pagans. During this time Albert Pike seized the opportunity to spread and entrench his pagan interpretation of the Craft.
MASONIC SYMBOLS & STRUCTURE
There is great deal of secrecy in Freemasonry. From the very beginning the Entered Apprentice is kept in the shadows regarding the full meaning of the symbols of the Craft. He is not offered any further understanding until he has proven himself worthy to receive deeper truths. Not only is the Mason to keep the secrets of the Lodge, but he is to swear oaths accompanied by severe penalties if he ever chooses to reveal them. According to Carl H Claudy, a former Grand Master of Masons, "the Masonic penalties are intended to inspire terror in the candidate." Claudy states that if the candidate breaks his oath, he will experience the abasement that any man would feel when he had broken a solemn pledge. But even more so, he would experience "the wrath of God blasphemed. "The horror of a sin of which there is none greater."
That statement epitomizes the misinformation that the Mason often must endure. The idea that God recognizes and upholds the Mason's oath to a pagan god is simply not biblical. However, the biblical mandate for the believer is to not swear at all....but let your yes be yes and your no be no, for what is more than this is from the evil one.
Within Masonry there are two prominent rites or orders, the Scottish and the York. Within the Scottish rite there are the ancient and accepted rites. This is the most prevalent of the rites. The structure is as follows:
Ancient Rites {Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, Master Mason}
Accepted 4th-14th Degrees: Secret Master, Perfect Master, Intimate Secretary, Provost Judge, Intendant of the Builders, Elected Knights of the Nine, Illustrious Elect of Fifteen, Sublime Knights Elected, Grand Master Architect, Knight of Ninth Arch, Grand Elect, Perfect Sublime Master.
15th-19th Degrees: Knight of the East, Prince of Jerusalem, Knight of East and the West, Sovereign Prince of the Rose Croix.
20th-33rd Degrees: Grand Pontiff, Grand Master of all Symbolic Lodges, Prussian Knight, Knight of the Royal Axe, Chief of the Tabernacle, Prince of the Tabernacle, Knight of Brazen Serpent, Prince of Mercy and Scotch Trinitarian, Sovereign Commander of Temple, Knight of Sun, Grand Scotch Knight of St. Andrew, Grand Elect Knight Kodosh, Grand Enquiring Commander, Sublime Prince of Royal Secret, 33rd: Sovereign Grand Inspector General.
Most of these degrees are earned by merit and seniority. Too often degrees are obtained by $$$$$$. The Lodge can accumulate mucho denero by selling internal promotions. Systemically the lodge operates similar to a strong fraternity. There are initiations, the rank and file, blood oaths and extreme loyalty. Some extremist advocates will operate like terrorist and kill, murder and destroy to protect the tenants of the Craft. We at BARC have determined to tell the truth even if it cost us our lives. Martin Luther King said: 'If a man has not found something for which he is willing to die, he is not fit to live!"
The Lodge has sacramental furniture, one item is the altar for the 'sacred book.' This book can be the Vedas, the Qu'ran, the Book of Mormon, or the Bible.
There is the seat of the 'Worshipful Master', above his seat is the 'G' meaning the All-Seeing Eye, or the GAOTU. It is important to understand the vocabulary of the Craft. There is the Rough Ashlar which describes the free stone from the quarry. Another tool is the unpolished Gavel, it breaks the Ashlar of Ebullitions and indecorum of frivolity. The new candidate is considered a rough Ashler and by passing through the filters of the Craft, will become a smooth and polished stone.
Another tool of the Craft is the Compass, It is the standard of recitude and felicity, and an emblem of virtue. It is the only measure of a Mason's life and conduct. It keeps desires in due boundaries.
The Square is an angle of 90 degrees, represents the 4th part of a circle. It is the working tool of the Fellow Craft. It proves or corrects errors. It uncovers imperfections in conduct that will cause disharmony among Mason brothers.
The Five Pointed Star is found among the Master degree, it is an allusion to the five points of fellowship, a summary of Mason's duty to a brother. It is interesting that the star that Masonry defines as a symbol of the virtues of brothers, is the same symbol used by the occult to signify the goat head of Satan. It is also the emblem used in the occult called the Pentagram, that is the medium that introduces demons into our dimension in many Satanic ceremonies. When you look at the bumper emblem Mason's place on their cars, it is the 'Goat Head Pentagram' of occultic practice. You can clearly see the two horns, two ears, and goatee.
The Lambskin Apron speaks of the purity and moral righteousness.
Teachings of the Craft
Foster Bailey, author of The Spirit of Masonry, says that "Masonry is one of many ways to God" and that Masonry " is not a system of morality, inculcating the highest ethics through which result, if followed, the conscience unfolding of Divinity, but it is also a dramatic presentation of regeneration." This is totally foreign to the Bible. The Christian cannot, in any way, get beyond the fact that Jesus Christ as the Light giver and redeemer of humanity is opposed to the teachings of the Lodge.
The Bible distinctly teaches that salvation only comes through the person of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12) (John 14:6). It cannot come by any other means. Masonry does not accept the fact that man is born sinful and is in need of redemption. The Craft does not have a grasp of the depth of man's rebellion against the Creator.
Theologically, Masonry may be classified as a cult from the perspective of biblical revelation. If we define a cult as a religious group which claims compatibility with Christian faith but deviates seriously from orthodoxy in teachings and practice, then Masonry is a cult. Masonry keeps secrets from family members, it's oaths can be spiritually abusive, manipulative, and intimidating. They imply retribution for their violation, the ritual may in certain ways function to suppress independent thinking and dependency on Masonry. Masons must obey Lodge authority and Masonry itself.
It must be stated that Masonry worships the Sun, Light or Lucifer.
Albert Pike writes: Our Lodges are due East and West, because the Master represents the rising Sun."[ he is not talking about the star that is 93 million miles from earth, he's referring to the concealed god of ancient mystery religion].
Pike identifies the fact that the Sun god or light is the god of Masonry when he say's: "Osiris is symbolized by the Sun."
"The Sun .......his is the All-Seeing Eye in our Lodges"
Pike disclosed that the Egyptian god Osiris had a rival God. He wrote: Long known as Adonai [one of God's names in the Bible] the rival of Baal and Osiris.
Pike also states that "The Sun is the hieroglyphical sign of Truth, because it is the source of light.
Pike claims that "Masonry is a march and struggle for Light"
Albert Mackey wrote: "Light is therefore synonymous with truth and knowledge, and darkness with falsehood and ignorance."
We at BARC would like to present a Masonic ritual for initiates: Albert Pike list the ritual this way:
"Are you willing to be a soldier, and enlist in this new crusade against powers of evil, and all the wrongs that vex and afflict humanity?"
The candidate is encouraged to answer "I am"
The Mason takes this oath at 18th and 30th degrees
Kneel with us, then my brother with us in imploring the assistance, protection and support of Him to whom we owe our being; and to who alone can make Darkness Light, and bring tyranny of Evil to an end. The candidate kneels before the Grand Commander and takes the following oath: "Do you promise, swear, by all that you hold most dear and sacred, that you will hereafter consider yourself a Soldier of Truth, Justice, Order, Law, and suffering Humanity. And you WILL WAGE CONTINUAL WAR by legitimate and proper means, that may comport with the character of a Mason, a Knight and a gentlemen.
When you read this, it appears that it is moral and non threatening, however remember Masons have no moral absolutes.
In his book MAGNUS OPUS, Albert Pike makes it clear that murdering for the Craft or Lodge is the duty of a Knight.
"We do most sacredly and solemnly vow, and to each other renewedly (his word) pledge our Masonic and Knightly Word, that we will, by all legal and honorable means, avenge the murderers of our predecessors of this Order."
Henry Clausen former Sovereign Grand Commander of Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite wrote official Masonic literature that " This is one of the mandatory Degrees that humanizes the old lesson of vengeance.
The candidate vows in the solemn presence of death that he will oppose spiritual despotism and political tyranny [meaning he will oppose religion and government]. Symbolic action is taken to spurn all attempts of any CHURCH or STATE [here is the clear identification of despotism and tyranny, religion and government]. to crush man, lessen his freedom, or degrade and detract from his worship of the supreme spiritual power or his choice. [meaning man is restricted by moral absolutes of the God of the Bible]
Within Masonry 'evil' is defined as the God of the Bible. The Mason learns at the 33rd degree that Lucifer is the 'Light' {Sun God} historically known by names such as Tammuz and Osiris. The following quotation illustrates this clearly.
Albert Pike wrote: Men are good, Evil institutions [church and government] alone have made them bad [by setting up moral standards that reveal sin and one resolution Jesus Christ], and it is the duty of Masonry and every Knight to aid them back to the truth [freedom from religion or absolutes]. It is the old contest between Good and Evil, between the Sons of Light and Children of Darkness, between Hercules and Antaeus.
The soldiers of the Masonic war are certain of victory. They have a plan and purpose, listen to them speak;
Albert Pike writes: "We can look on all evils of the world and see that it is only the hour before sunrise, and the light is coming....."
"No true Mason despairs of final victory".
'Light will finally overcome Darkness, This s the religion and philosophy of Masonry.'
..."The doom of Tyranny is near at hand"
" Ultimately, will prevail, and Evil will be overthrown"
...."The ultimate disappearance of political and religious despotism, though perhaps remote, is certain"
"The doctrines of Masonry will ultimately rule the Intellectual world, is certain"
With such startling revelations of Masonry's agenda against God, the Church and magistrates and ordinances, it is vital that Christians pray and prepare to fight the spiritual onslaught called Masonry.
Masonry is not authoritarian in the same sense that many cults are; however, there is an element of authoritarianism. Rule is autocratic. The Worshipful Master of a local Lodge, has supreme total control. Listen to Carl H. Claudy; The incumbent of the Oriental chair [Worshipful Master} has powers peculiar to his station which are far greater than those of the president of a society or chairman of a meeting of any kind..... It is the Masters right to control Lodge business and work.....He decides all points of order......he has the right to say who enters and leaves the Lodge room. The power of the Worshipful Master is that of an absolute monarch.
The Masonic scandal in the Italian government in 1981 illustrates how such power may be abused. By 1975, more than 100 Masons were members of Italian Parliament. The Lodge was formed in 1966 at the request of the Grand Master of the Grand Orient of Italy, Giordano Gamberini. His cause was to apparently establish a group of eminent persons who could be useful to the cause of Freemasonry. Gamberini chose Gelli who was a fascist supporter of Mussolini. Gelli became the Venerable Master of the unofficial Lodge. Gelli had his Masonic brethren involved in every political decision. NATO was forced to support the attitude and agenda of the Italian Freemasons.
Freemasonry has strong political prowess and presence. Many elected officials who hold babies during campaigns and sing in the church choir are practicing Masons. BARC has researched and compiled a list of former and present officials who have loyalty to Masonic agendas and mandates.
In 1987 top Masons in the Senate made a public record of their affiliation with Masonry, those on record consist of:
Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, Trent Lott (racist Masons for the record), Sen. Charles Grassley, Arlen Specter, Alan Simpson, Harry Byrd, Sam Nunn, Bob Dole, John Glenn, Mark Hatfield, John Stennis ,
Manly P. Hall a Masonic pillar wrote: "Masonry is....the most powerful organization in the land, it is the ordainer of kings."
" Its hand has shaped the destinies of worlds."
Just as most cults like Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Scientology have something to hide. It may be an unsavory past, current abuse of members, immorality of it's leaders, or destructive secret teachings. Masonry just as other groups try to suppress, undermine, or discredit works that are too critical or revealing. They have been involved in documented activities that were attempting to veil their activities. They also attempt to muzzle and hinder all criticisms of them.
Cults often site scripture, sometimes extensively, but the manner in which scripture is interpreted involves deliberate distortion to make them conform to the beliefs of a particular group. Many illustrations are found in our book' 'Secret Teachings ' and in James Sires 'Scripture Twisting.' Masonry engages in similar quoting and misuse of the Scriptures. In our theological analysis and elsewhere we have seen Masonry (1) Denies the deity of Jesus Christ {Secret Teachings} 2. Rejects the true nature of God 3. Denies salvation by grace 4. Distorts the scriptures. 5. Replaces allegiance to God with allegiance to Masonry 6. Contains contradictory theology. 7. Blasphemes God.
Noted Cult authority Walter Martin wrote: "Human nature is perfectible by an intensive process of purification and initiation." That is the Masonic initiation. Good works is the pathway to salvation in all pagan religions and a pathway to justification.....What we are dealing with in Masonry is a non-Christian cult with a lot of very dedicated, but mistaken men. In the words of scripture," there is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death." Masonry does not add members to the Christian family but adds members to the Lodge."
Masonry teaches that the Mason can become cleansed, morally just, purified, perfected, and wholesome by the edicts of the Craft. Masonry has a eternal abode for it's adherents, The Celestial Lodge in Heaven. And as we established earlier Masonry has postured itself as the organization that will reintroduce the original Mystery Religion into the world. That Masonry would be a conduit for all religions to come under one influence.
Masonic God
During the ritual, Masonry has its candidates swear that they believe in God typically called the "Great Architect of the Universe" It also informs them that all Masons are to bow before the sacred name of Deity. They claim that all Masons of every nation, religion are united in the belief that they were created by one Almighty Parent. The question is, is this 'Almighty Parent' the God of the Bible? The answer is clearly no. In the Masonic Bible published by the A. J. Holman Press, we are told this "Almighty Parent" is the one true God that all men worship. This is regardless of the name by which He is identified: Jehovah, Krishna, Buddha, Allah, Malachi York. The Masonic Bible is the KJV with a special Masonic stamp insignia. In the forward is a section that reads; Masonry invites all faiths.....even if they use different names they are praying to the same God and Father of all.
But when a Muslim or Buddhist prays are they praying to Christ? NO! NO! NO! The Mason is required to declare faith in a Supreme Being before he may be initiated. They may call him, Great Architect, Grand Artificer, Grand Master, Great Geometer. Masons don't specify any God or name. You must believe in God, but any god will do. Masonic authority Henry Wilson Coil; calls the biblical God a "partisan tribal God" and implies that such a God concept is far inferior to the God of Masonry. Coil even admits that 'monotheism.....violates Masonic principles, for it requires belief in a specific kind of Supreme Deity."
Masonic authority Albert Pike also denies the biblical God.
He argues that "if our conceptions of God are those of the ignorant, narrow-minded, and vindictive Israelite."
Pike categorized the God of scripture as a false god and an idol when he wrote that "every religion and every conception of God is idolatrous."
Mackey assign deity to the 'Sun god', and the 'Light' derived from Baal and Osiris worship of 'Mystery Religion.'
Masons are instructed to do his duty to his Masonic god first, then the religious practice their involved in. Jesus said: Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (John 17:3) I, even I am the Lord and there is none other, besides me there is no God. (Isaiah 43:11; 45:5 ) Masonry denies this, and ignores Jesus Christ.
Many Christians such as the Southern Baptist Convention who support and condone Masonic practice, don't see Masonry as a religion, the major issue in determining whether Masonry is a religion is to look at its demands on the candidate. The moral, allegorical, and symbolic teachings reveals the Lodge is theistic, a non-Christian, man-centered, and universal religion. This is why many Masonic officials and authorities publicly confess that Masonry is a religion.
Albert Mackey: "The religion of Masonry is cosmopolitan universal"......
Henry Wilson Coil: Religion is espoused by the Masonic Ritual and "Freemasonry is undoubtedly religion. "Many Freemasons make their flight to heaven with no other guarantee of a safe landing than their belief in the religion of Freemasonry"
Albert Pike: "Masonry....... is the universal, eternal, immutable religion, the pure primitive religion".......
Morals and Dogmas: "Every Masonic Lodge is a Temple of Religion, its teachings are instructions of religion".
Doesn't this constitute evidence that Masonry is a religion?
The 'STUDY' of the Southern Baptist that concluded that Masonry was not a religion, used the analogy that many Boy Scouts are not Christians and we let our children join the boy scouts, so likewise Christians can join the Masons without serving the gods of Masonry. This is an indication of how the church can hold tight to religion and let go of the Bible. Look at the Episcopalian Church, they are voting and debating whether Gays should be allowed to participate in Christian Ministry! A twelve year old Sunday school student knows.......no effeminate or homosexual can please God. The Bible says in Leviticus 13 that its an abomination to God! In other words, it makes God want to puke !!!!!! So when the Bible is not the final court of arbitration, then we see every heresy and sacrilege.
A minister who came out of Masonry named Charles G. Finney produced a pamphlet called 'Why I left Masonry' said: "In taking these oaths, I had been grossly deceived and imposed upon [the Adept Masons are intentionally deceived] I concluded that my oaths had been procured by fraud and misrepresentations, that the institution was nothing it was informed it was it is more and more plain that Masonry is dangerous to the State, and in every way injurious to the Church of Christ."
Another who attempts to warn the world of the dangers and truth of Masonry was Bernard Fay. He wrote the book 'Revolution and Freemasonry.' He wrote: "The New Masonry did not aim to destroy churches, but, with the aid of the progress of ideas, it prepared to replace them. Even some Christian denominations have voiced their concerns; The Orthodox Presbyterian, met in Rochester, NY on June 2-5 1942, and they issued a report on the Ancient Order of Free Accepted Masons. The following was part of their conclusions: "Masonry is a religious institution and as such is definitely anti-Christian. Membership in the Masonic fraternity is inconsistent with Christianity."
The Eastern Orthodox Church found that: Freemasonry is anti-Christian in theory and practice, it fights national governments, especially in Christian countries.
The Church of England noted "Freemasonry is blasphemous, irreverent to anything considered sacred."
Edward Payne an ex -Mason wrote: "Masonry is a system which has not the least shadow of support from either history, from scripture, or reason, or from common sense., but is in fact diametrically opposed to them all"
We at BARC agree with those findings and contend that Masonry is a anti-Christian organization, with it's roots in paganism! It is a religion that defames Christ and the principles of scripture. Any Christian involved in Masonry has been taken advantage of, blinded and deceived. But if one will look at the facts provided you will clearly..... see........that you must renounce your involvement in Masonry and then warn others of this secret darkness!
